Abstract

Mitochondrial dynamics play a critical role in tumor progression, yet the contribution of mitochondrial fission regulator 2 (MTFR2) to endometrial cancer (EC) remains poorly defined. This study investigated the clinical relevance and functional role of MTFR2 in EC and explored its involvement in mitochondrial dynamics mediated by the dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1)/mitochondrial fusion protein mitofusin 1 (MFN1) signaling axis.
