Dr Dong Ren graduated from Sun Yat-sen University, China. He received his Bachelor degree on clinical medicine in 2010 from The Forth Military Medical University and received his PhD in 2016 from University of Sun Yat-sen University. He was sponsored by Chinese Scholar Council to work as a visiting scholar in Department of pathology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School from 2013.12 to 2015.12. He worked in the research field of bone metastasis of cancer, especially bone metastasis of prostate cancer over 10 years. He has published 16 original articles as corresponding/first author (including co-corresponding/first author), and participated in other 15 original articles. IF> 10: 3 papers; IF> 5: 7 papers. Total citation > 900+. Serve as a peer reviewer of the work of other experts in the field/industry exceeding 180 papers.

Since 2010, he has been working in the field of molecular biology in the underlying mechanism of prostate cancer metastasis to bone at department of orthopedics, the first affiliated hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University. As a visiting scholar at department of pathology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the affiliated hospital of Harvard Medical School from Dec. 2013 to Nov. 2015, he studied the cytoskeleton remodeling in cancer metastasis. After completing my doctoral degree at Sun Yat-Sen University in 2016, he took a post-doctor position in the first affiliated hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University. During period, he started to focus to identify the serum markers to predict prognosis in cancer patients, and therapeutic target in bone metastasis of PCa.
