Erratum: The prognostic significance of fragile X mental retardation syndrome-related protein 1 (FXR1) in breast cancer
Erratum to: Transl Cancer Res 2025;14:980-9.
In the published article entitled “The prognostic significance of fragile X mental retardation syndrome-related protein 1 (FXR1) in breast cancer” (Transl Cancer Res 2025;14:980-9; doi: 10.21037/tcr-24-1542) (1), the use of the term “retardation” in the title and content of the manuscript may be considered outdated. According to current naming conventions and based on the reader’s feedback, the gene is now referred to as “FMR1 autosomal homolog 1”, rather than “fragile X mental retardation, autosomal homolog 1”.
