Predictive modelling of duodenal stump leakage after gastric cancer and long-term oncological outcomes

Duodenal stump leakage (DSL) is a significant postoperative complication of gastric cancer that has a detrimental impact on patient prognosis. However, there is currently no established DSL prediction model. Furthermore, the long-term prognostic implications of DSL in gastric cancer patients remain unclear. The aim of this study was to construct a risk prediction model for DSL to guide clinical decision-making and assess the long-term prognosis of DSL.
