Disrupting membrane lipids composition promotes tumorigenesis: the other dark side of cholesterol and the potential implication of gangliosides
Abstract

This nescience is partly due to their structure heterogeneity when compared to carbohydrates, proteins and nucleic acids that inside the same family share similar structural features, and to the negative press that is done to them.
